Ithaca, NY: The Ramapo College women's indoor track and field team competed at the 2019 All-Atlantic Region Championships Friday and Saturday, hosted by Ithaca College at the A & E Center.
Kristina Langan captured a 1st place finish in the pole vault when she cleared 3.82-meters a personal best, while the mark is 2nd best on the Ramapo indoor top ten list. Her jump also ties her for 6th best in NCAA Division III this season.
Jennifer Polo clocked in at 18:20.83 in the 5K race as she placed 11th overall. Her time is 3rd on the indoor top ten list.
Judanicka Julceus and
Judlynn Julceus posted times of 8.05 seconds (11th place) and 8.10 seconds (12th place) respectively. Juda. Julceus crossed the finish line of the 200-meter dash in 27.04 seconds while Judl. Julceus posted a time of 27.60 seconds. In the 400-meter dash,
Meredith Butler clocked in with a time of 1:01.15 for a 15th place finish while
Alexandra Kyros placed 10th overall and 2nd in her heat of the mile run with a time of 5:15.37.
Nicole Bertollo placed 17th in the 800-meter run when she posted a time of 2:27.73.
The official selections for the 2019 NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championship will be announced Sunday night on ncaa.com in a press release at 7pm. Langan looks to be chosen to compete in the pole vault as she currently is tied for the 6th best jump in NCAA Division III this season.
