Game Recap: Men's Volleyball |

RAMAPO EARNS 3-1 CVC WIN OVER EMU

Mahwah, NJ:  The Ramapo College men's volleyball team defeated Eastern Mennonite University 3-1 (25-18,25-16,24-26,25-18) in CVC action tonight at the Bradley Center. The Roadrunners improve to 2-4 overall, 1-0 in the CVC while the Royals now stand at 0-8 overall and 0-1 in the conference. 
 
The Roadrunners were led by Eric Van Thuyne with 16 kills as he hit .273 in the match while he posted four aces and three digs. Stephen Codispodo hit .467 in the match with nine kills on 15 attempts and just two errors while he posted three aces, three digs and one block. Conor Charlow also posted nine kills while he tallied two blocks. Andrew Finnegan posted seven kills, two aces and six digs and Josh Titus led the team with 40 assists while he collected six digs, three kills and one block. The team hit .200 in the match with 49 total kills on 110 attempts and 27 errors while they collected 15 aces in the match.
 
The Royals were led by Travis Abele who posted seven kills, three assists and three total blocks including two solo blocks while he tallied seven digs. Wyatt Bollinger dished out a team high 18 assists while he added two blocks. RJ Ocampo posted a team high three solo blocks while also collected two kills and four digs. The team collected 22 total kills in the match.
 
The Roadrunners return to action tomorrow morning when they host #11 Southern Virginia University in a CVC match at 11am. SVU will take on Alvernia University at 1pm and at 3pm Ramapo will play Alvernia in a non-conference match.
