Glassboro, NJ: The Rowan University men's swim team earned a 190-72 win over Ramapo College today in NJAC action. The Profs improve to 3-1 overall and remain undefeated in the conference at 3-0. The Roadrunners now stand at 2-2 overall and 0-2 in the conference.
Emile Eeckhout placed first overall in the 200-yard IM in 2:02.57, one of two first place finishes on the day.
Spencer Hughes placed second for the Roadrunners in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:15.35 while
Josh Templeton placed second in the 200-yard freestyle in 1:46.44.
Tomer Bachar clocked in at 55.59 in the 100-yard backstroke for a second-place finish while Eeckhout and
Sam Cossaboon placed 2-3 in the 100-yard breaststroke with times of 59.01 and 1:00.82 in a very close race. Bachar also took home a second-place finish in the 200-yard backstroke when he clocked in at 2:02.37 while Eeckhout and Cossaboon went 1-2 in the 200-yard breaststroke. Eeckhout finished in first place with a time of 2:10.37 while Cossaboon was second in 2:14.52.
The Roadrunners will return to action on November 22nd -24th when they travel to the F & M Invite hosted by Franklin and Marshall College.
