Mahwah, NJ: The Bard women's tennis team wins non-conference battle over Ramapo College 5-4. The Roadrunners now stand at 4-3 overall while the Raptors move to 5-2 overall.
Francesca Chicherchia and
Marina Kaiafas posted an 8-3 win at second doubles while
Megha Mehta and
Elizabeth Gamba earned an 8-3 win at third doubles to go into singles play up 2-1. Bard came back with four wins of their own in single action to win the match. Kaiafas (6-3, 6-1) and Mehta (6-4, 6-0) won their matches in fourth and fifth singles respectively for the Roadrunners.
Ramapo returns to action on Thursday, October 10th when they travel to Rutgers-Newark University for a NJAC match at 5:30pm.
