Newark, NJ: The Ramapo College women's tennis team defeated Rutgers-Newark University tonight in NJAC action 7-2. The Roadrunners improve to 5-3 overall and 3-2 in the conference while the Scarlet Raiders now stand at 2-7 overall and 1-5 in the NJAC.
Ramapo won at first and second doubles before they won the first five matches in singles play.
Megha Mehta and
Marine Uyttenhove posted an 8-0 win at second doubles. Mehta recorded a 6-0, 6-0 sweep at fourth singles to highlight the Roadrunners in singles action.
Ramapo returns to action on Saturday, October 12th when they host Stockton University in the final NJAC match of the season at 1pm.
