Mahwah, NJ: The Stockton University women's soccer team battled to a 4-2 conference victory today over Ramapo College. The Ospreys improve to 10-1-1 overall, 3-0-1 in the NJAC while the Roadrunners now stand at 4-5-1 overall and 0-2-1 in the conference.

Amanda Gouldsbury got Ramapo on the board first in the game with a goal off an assist from
Cammi Plage to go up 1-0 in the 11th minute of action. Sydney Williams would tie the game 1-1 in the 21st minute with her seventh goal of the season. Stockton would take a 2-1 lead in the 42nd minute when Heather Bertollo hit the back of the net, her second goal of the season. Â

In the second half, Susan Porambo tallied her sixth goal of the season for the Ospreys while Salena LeDonne collected her second assist of the day to put Stockton up 3-1 in the 55th minute.
Carla Goodwin cut the lead to just one in the 72nd minute with a goal for Ramapo on a breakaway as she scored her fourth of the year. Dasey DiElmo notched her second goal of the season in the 84th minute to give Stockton an insurance goal and a 4-2 lead.

Elizabeth Harvell tallied 13 saves for the Roadrunners in goal while Olivia Harris tallied one for Stockton. Stockton held a 24-4 advantage in shots in the game and a 6-4 lead in corner kicks.

The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, October 12th when they travel to NJAC rival Montclair State University for a conference game at 1pm.
