Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's tennis team earned a 6-3 win over NJAC rival William Paterson University tonight 6-3. The Roadrunners improve to 4-2 overall and evened their conference record at 2-2. The Pioneers now stand at 0-7 overall and 0-5 in the conference. Head coach

Ramapo won all three doubles matches to earn three points heading into singles play. Doubles action was highlighted by a shutout victory from
Francesca Chicherchia and
Marina Kaiafas, 8-0 at second doubles.
Marine Uyttenhove won 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) at first singles while
Tamila Akhunova and Kaiafas each blanked their opponents 6-0, 6-0 at second and third singles respectively.
The Roadrunners return to action tomorrow afternoon when they host non-conference foe Bard College at the Athletic Center at 12pm.
