Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's soccer team and the Red Hawks of Montclair State played to a draw today as the two teams ended 110 minutes of soccer knotted at 1-1. The tie is Ramapo's fifth of the season as they now stand at 7-1-5 overall and 2-1-2 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. The Red Hawks stand at 10-4-1 overall and 2-2-1 in conference play.

Joseph Fala capitalized on a penalty kick scoring his eighth goal of the season.
It didn't take long before Montclair answered at 9:02 after a scramble in the box left Nixon Soglo with his fifth goal of the season which tied the game at 1-1.
The two teams played the remainder of regulation and two overtime periods of scoreless soccer taking one point each for the 1-1 tie in the conference match-up.
The Roadrunners led in shots, 15-11 on the day while
Joshua Schaffer made five saves in net. Michael Mejia made four saves of his own for the Red Hawks. Corner kicks went to MSU at 5-4.
The Roadrunners return to action on Wednesday, October 16
th when they travel to Kean University for a NJAC match-up at 3pm.
