Morristown, NJ: The Ramapo College women's volleyball team moved to 8-1 overall with a 3-1 (20-25, 25-14, 25-19, 25-13) road win over the College of Saint Elizabeth in non-conference action. The Eagles now stand at 4-5 on the year.
Morgan Ridgway led the team with 11 kills while she posted three aces and seven digs.
Felicia Jimenez collected eight kills while recording one solo block and one assisted block in the match.
Hannah Frascella collected three blocks on the night including one solo while she added six kills and three digs. On defense,
Karina Almeda recorded 25 digs to lead the team while
Stephanie Ross tallied 13 of her own. Ross also contributed with five kills and one block.
Kate Shirkey recorded 18 assists to lead the team while
Sara Correa dished out ten assists of her own in the match. The Roadrunners collected 35 total kills in the match.
The Eagles were led by Yes Muhammad and Stephanie Mitarontonda each tallied ten kills. Diane Cuevas posted a team high 12 assists while Maura Farley recorded ten. Farley also led the team on defense with 19 digs and Jora Nivar collected 17 digs of her own on defense. The team posted 32 total kills in the match.
Ramapo returns to action on Saturday, October 5th when they host St. Joseph's College Brooklyn at the Bradley Center at 11am.
