New York, NY: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team fell short to New York University tonight 0-3 (20-25, 17-25, 21-25) to fall to 0-3 overall on the year. With the win, NYU improves to 1-3.
Eric Van Thuyne led the Roadrunners with six kills while Brenden Russell and Conor Charlow collected three kills each in the loss. The team combined for 16-67 with 19 errors hitting -.045. Josh Titus dished out a team high 13 assists and Tyler Plitt led the team's defense with seven digs.
Alex Li led NYU with ten kills and Evan Lindley collected nine as the team went 36-65 with 16 errors hitting .308. Matin Bikdeli and Ryan Whealean split the setting duties as Bikdeli dished out 19 and Whealean 11. Li led the defense with six digs and Race Agcaoili picked up five while Anton Lagochniak picked up four of his own.
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, January 26th when they travel to Glenside, PA for a tri-match with Misericordia and Elmira beginning at 1pm.
