Galloway, NJ:  The Stockton University women's soccer team defeated Ramapo College 6-0 today as they improved to 7-2-3 overall and 2-1-1 in the NJAC. The Roadrunners fall to 2-8 overall and 1-3 in the conference.
 
The Ospreys scored three goals in each half to earn the NJAC victory while Nicole Pallante put away three saves for Stockton in the shutout. Stockton led 24-9 in shots including 16-4 in shots on goal while they recorded eight corner kicks to Ramapo's two.
 
Salena Ledonne scored back-to-back goals for the Ospreys to open the game for a quick 2-0 score with just over five minutes played in the first half. She scored unassisted in the 2nd minute (1:11) while she took a pass from Michell Sander in the 6th minute (5:23) for her second goal of the game. In the 32nd minute (31:42) Susan Porambo tallied an unassisted goal to push the lead 3-0.
 
In the second half, Bri Pagnani and Dasey Dielmo assisted on Alexa Simonetti's goal (53:30) before Amber Loomis and Katie Reed extended the Osprey lead to 6-0 with goals in the 69th (68:08) and 77th minute (76:31) respectively.
 
The Roadrunners return to action Saturday, October 6th when they host Montclair State University in a NJAC conference game at the Athletic Center at 1pm.
