Jersey City, NJ: The Ramapo College women's soccer team blanked NJAC rival New Jersey City University today on the road 2-0. With the win the Roadrunners move to 2-4 overall and 1-0 in the NJAC while the Gothic Knights even their overall record to 3-3 and start the conference season at 0-1.

Elizabeth Harvell and the Ramapo defense posted their first NJAC shutout of the season as Harvell collected four saves.
Cammi Plage sent in a cross to
Erika Signorile who posted her first goal of the season in the 40th minute during the first half (39:37) to put Ramapo on the board 1-0.
Kaelyn Angelucci posted her first goal of the season in the second half (66:28) to push the Ramapo lead 2-0.
Jessica Raccioppi recorded the assist. The Roadrunners defense did not let the Gothic Knights score in the final minutes of the game to earn the NJAC road victory.
Ramapo held a 23-17 advantage in shots while they recorded the only corner kick in the game. NJCU's Cidney Lee-Sam posted 12 saves in the game, seven in the second half.
Ramapo returns to action on Wednesday, September 19th when they travel to Union College for a non-conference game at 5pm.
