Christina Brizek drew a walk to force home Howarth for a 1-0 lead before Krista Verrino and Nicole Hernandez each recorded a sac fly to plate two runs for a 3-0 lead.

Spellman extended the Roadrunner lead 4-0 in the top of the second inning when she drove a line drive single into left field that was misplayed and rolled to the wall allowing Jackie Howarth to score, Howarth led off the inning with a single.

Ramapo added two more runs in the top of the third inning. Hernandez singled before Sisi Machinski smacked a two-run home run over the left field fence, her second of the season, to extend the Roadrunner lead 6-0.

Bay Path got on the board in the bottom half of the third inning with one run before Ramapo added five runs in the fourth inning. Verrino laced a single into left-center field plating Shannon Cox before a bunt single from Harper Patsko combined with a Bay Path throwing error allowed Brizek to cross home plate 8-1. Kristen Ruggiero lifted a sac fly to center field plating Kendra Decker for the Roadrunners 12th run of the game 12-1.

The Wildcats would load the bases off of Ramapo relief pitcher Paige Merle in the bottom of the fifth inning but the infield turned a 6-4-3 double play to end the threat and preserve the 12-1 win.
