Glassboro, NJ: The #23 Rowan University women's lacrosse team defeated Ramapo College today 21-3. The Profs improve to 10-1 overall and remain undefeated in the NJAC at 3-0 while the Roadrunners now stand at 5-6 overall and 0-3 in the conference.
The Profs scored 11 goals to start the game before the Roadrunners got on the board with a goal from
Gabi Davidson on a free position shot in the first half.
Alyssa Tachon scored the final goal in the first half for either team in the final minute of action as the Profs led 13-2 heading into the second half.
Tachon scored the first goal of the second half, her 21st of the season, as the Profs led 13-3. Rowan would score eight unanswered goals as extended their lead 21-3.
Monica Bubello collected 11 saves in the game for the Roadrunners. Erin Horner posted five saves in the net for the Profs in just over 46 minutes of action while Emma Frost also needed five saves in the second half in the final 13:31 of the game.
The Roadrunners return to action tomorrow afternoon when they travel to Fairleigh Dickinson University Florham in a non-conference game at 12:00pm.
