Kissimmee, FL: The Ramapo College softball team split a pair of games in their final day at the SunKissed Games. The Roadrunners run-ruled St. Norbert College 14-0 in five innings before they fell to the College of Wooster 8-5. The Roadrunners are now 8-4 overall this season.

Game 1:
Ramapo starting pitcher
Katrina Buczkowski took a no-hitter into the fifth inning before surrendering a double. Buczkowski struck out five and walked two in the shutout win. The Roadrunners scored six runs in the bottom of the first inning, seven runs in the third inning and one run in the fourth. Ramapo recorded two homeruns in the game when
Harper Patsko and
Jackie Howarth each hit one out while
Carli Egan and Patsko each collected one double in the game. The Roadrunners pounded out 14 hits in the win.

In the first inning, Ramapo scored all six of their runs with two outs. The inning was highlighted by Patsko's first home run of the season to take a 1-0 lead. In the third inning the Roadrunners scored seven runs on six hits. The inning was highlighted by
Kasie McNichol's pinch hit at-bat when she collected her first collegiate hit and RBI of her career. In the fourth inning, Howarth led off with a home run for the Roadrunners 14th run of the game.

Game 2:
Wooster put two quick runs on the board in the bottom of the first inning with a two-run home run before Ramapo scored three runs in the top of the third. Howarth reached on an error, Egan walked before they each moved up on a sac bunt from Patsko.
Ally Spellman took the first pitch she saw and belted a double into the left-center field gap allowing both runners to score before
Kendra Decker laced a double down the left field line as Spellman came around to score for the 3-2 lead. Wooster scored one run in the bottom of the third to tie the game 3-3 before they added two runs in the fourth to take a 5-3 lead.

Ramapo tacked on two runs in the sixth to tie the score up at five in the top of the sixth inning. Howarth beat out a bunt single before Egan drove her home with a double deep down the right field line to come within one 5-4. Egan moved to third on a wild pitch before Patsko drove her home with a hard hit single to left field for the 5-5 tie. The Roadrunners would push the go ahead run to third when Spellman reached on an error but she was stranded as Wooster got out of the one out jam with a fly out and ground out to end the inning. Wooster would plate the game winning runs in the bottom of the sixth inning when Marina Roski hit a three-run home run.

Paige Merle took the loss in relief for Ramapo in the circle, she struck out two, walked three, surrendered three runs and scattered two hits over the final 2.2 innings of work. Â Â Egan, Patsko, Spellman and Decker all collected two hits in the game for the Roadrunners.

The Roadrunners return to action when they host Oneonta in a non-conference double header at the Athletic Center beginning at 1pm.
