Union, NJ: The Kean University women's volleyball team defeated Ramapo College tonight 3-0 (25-9, 25-14, 25-16) in NJAC action as the Cougars (15-9 overall, 5-1 NJAC) remain in second place in the conference standings. The Roadrunners now stand at 6-17 overall and 1-4 in the conference.

The Cougars were led by Cailyn Ross who tallied 12 kills on 18 attempts as she hit .667 in the match. Vikki Stec posted 11 kills on 22 attempts with just two errors to hit .409 while she added nine digs. Jesse Larkin and Brett Harper each contributed with seven kills while Harper led the team on defense with 12 digs and four aces. Brianna Calvano tallied a team high 33 assists while she added nine digs. The Cougars hit .464 in the match with 45 kills on 84 attempts and just six errors.

Hannah Frascella led the Roadrunners with nine kills while she added two assists and nine digs. Sarah Correa dished out nine assists while
Kate Shirkey posted eight of her own.
Kristina Semple also collected nine digs to match the team high set by Frascella while
Samantha Main led the team with three blocks. The team collected 21 total kills on 81 attempts with 12 errors to hit .111 in the match.

Ramapo will host NJAC rival Stockton University on Thursday, October 11th at 7pm at the Bradley Center.
