Patchogue, NY:  The Ramapo College women's volleyball team split their two matches in the final day of the St. Joseph's College – L.I. Invitational. The Roadrunners defeated the host Golden Eagles 3-1 (25-27, 25-12, 25-23, 25-22) while Salve Regina defeated Ramapo 3-1 (18-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-15). The Roadrunners now stand at 6-16 overall.  
 
Ramapo bounced back from a loss earlier in the day to defeat St. Joseph's College 3-1. 
Morgan Ridgway led the Roadrunners with 15 kills while she added seven digs and one block. 
Hannah Frascella posted 12 kills, 12 digs and six blocks while 
Aniella Bednarz led the team with eight total blocks. Bednarz collected five kills in the match while 
Samantha Main tallied five blocks of her own. 
Sara Correa dished out 32 assists to lead the team while she added a team high four aces. 
Kristina Semple posted a team high 35 digs while she added six assists as 
Anna Granquist collected 17 digs of her own in the match. The Roadrunners tallied 44 kills as a team in the match while they recorded 13 assisted blocks as a team.
 
For the Golden Eagles, Jessica Young recorded 13 kills as Kaitlin Williams and Danielle Silkin each posted 11 kills in the match. Kristen Bohnenblusch added ten kills and 11 digs. Brionna Silva recorded a team high 43 assists and added one ace and 16 digs while Danielle Senecal led the team with 31 digs on defense. 
Amanda Rose collected 18 digs on defense while Gillian Donaghy posted a team high four blocks. The Golden Eagles recorded 50 kills as a team in the match.
 
In the first match of the day a balanced scoring attack from Salve Regina (13-7 overall) allowed them to overcome a first set loss. Annie Donahue hit .571 in the match with 12 kills on 21 attempts and no errors. Madison Lee recorded nine kills while Paige Tully, Cassidy Trabilcy and Andee Bender all recorded seven kills. Megan Parham recorded a team high 21 digs while Trabilcy posted 20 and Olivia Noonan collected 19 digs and a team high 22 assists. Donahue posted a team high three blocks while Lee and Kendall Wilcox each collected two. Salve Regina recorded 49 kills in the match.
 
For the Roadrunners, Frascella led the way with 11 kills while she added seven digs and one block. Ridgway tallied nine kills and four digs while 
Felicia Jimenez added six kills, two digs and one block. Correa recorded a team high of 32 assists and 17 digs on defense while she added one block and one ace. Granquist and Semple posted 15 and 13 digs respectively on defense while they both earned two aces each in the match. Bednarz posted three total blocks while adding three kills and three digs. The Roadrunners recorded 34 kills in the match.
 
The Roadrunners return to action when they travel to NJAC rival Kean University on Tuesday, October 9th for a match at 7pm.
