Megha Mehta both won their championship round matches in singles action.Â

The day was highlighted by
Danielle Gilman winning the B-Singles Championship match. Gilman first defeated Christina Riccio of Drew, 8-1 in the opening round match before winning 8-4 over Marwa Elessawy in the championship round.
Jenna Shotmeyer posted an 8-1 win in B-singles quarter final action over Xylia Bruff of Drew. In A-Singles action,
Francesca Chicherchia defeated Kate Gangi of Drew 8-3 in a consolation match.

Megha Mehta won her opening round match in C-Singles play 8-1 over Della Rodriquez (WPU) 8-1 before winning a semi-final match 8-0 over Briya Smallwood (WPU). In the C-Singles Championship match Mehta won a hard-fought match 8-6 over Drew's Saraphina Noel Jeune.

Mehta and Gilman teamed up in the quarter-finals to earn an 8-2 win over Elessawy and Kate Gangi of Drew while
Marine Uyttenhove and Chicherchia posted an 8-3 win over Jeune and Xylia Bruff of Drew as both Roadrunner teams moved onto the semi-finals. Uyttenhove & Chicherchia posted a semi-final win 8-3 over Kaworu Ishikawa and Briya Smallwood of WPU. The duo fell in the Championship Match 8-4 to Ashley Camel and Maria Navas Espinal of Drew.

The Roadrunners return to action on Monday, October 8th when they host Baruch College in a non-conference match at 4pm.
