Mahwah, NJ: The #3 seed Stockton University women's tennis team defeated #2 seed Ramapo College 5-1 today in the NJAC Tournament Semifinal at the Athletic Center. The Ospreys improve to 7-3 overall while the Roadrunners now stand 10-5 on the year.
The match was played to completion which is five matches won between doubles and singles. Ramapo's lone point came during doubles play where
Anna Bysiek and
Katie Obssuth won at third doubles with a score of 8-7 (1-0).
The Ospreys advance to the NJAC Championship match on Saturday afternoon against #1 seed TCNJ.
Ramapo returns to action Friday, April 26th when they host Bard College in a non-conference match at 5:00 PM.
