Glassboro, NJ: The Ramapo College men's cross country team placed 3rd overall today at the 2018 New Jersey Athletic Conference Championships. The team combined for 47 points with a total time of 2:15:15.43. Ramapo was just seven points shy of the 1st place team in that of TCNJ as they finished the meet with 40 points. Rowan placed 2nd with 41 points.
The Roadrunners were paced by Will McCoy who placed 4th overall as he clocked in at 26:38.15 in the 8k race. Matt Tuohy was Ramapo's second finisher. He crossed the finish line in 26:54.15 in 6th place overall. Chris Andersen placed 8th overall with a time of 27:00.91 and Joseph Zisa earned 14th place in a time of 27:20.58.
Christopher Stephenson and Jose De La Cruz placed 15th and 17th respectively. Stephenson clocked in at 27:21.64 and De La Cruz finished the race in 27:22.16. Quinn Geraghty earned 26th place and Jason Rodriguez placed 33rd as they crossed the finish line in 27:45.05 and 28:02.25 respectively.
Kevin Campbell ran the race in a time of 28:08.62 as he took home 38th while Peter Petropoulos wrapped up Ramapo's top ten as he took home 44th place clocking in at 28:34.85.
Ramapo returns to action on Saturday, November 10th when they head back down to Glassboro for the NCAA Atlantic Regionals.
