ROADRUNNERS BLANK CCNY 3-0

Mahwah, NJ:  The Ramapo College women's volleyball team earned a 3-0 (25-8, 25-13, 25-15) non-conference victory over the City College of New York tonight at the Bradley Center. With the win the Roadrunners improve to 10-19 overall while the Beavers now stand at 9-13 overall.
 
The Roadrunners earned their fourth victory tonight in the last five matches. Hannah Frascella led the way with 12 kills on 23 attempts with just three errors to hit .391 in the match. She also posted one assist, one ace, one block and ten digs. Morgan Ridgway hit .316 in the match with seven kills on 19 attempts and just one error while recording six digs. Aniella Bednarz hit .500 with six kills on 12 attempts and no errors, she also posted one assist and one block. Kate Shirkey led the team with 16 assists while adding two kills, two aces and ten digs. Felicia Jimenez added five kills, and two blocks while Kristina Semple led the team on defense with 12 digs. Sara Correa led the team with three aces while she contributed with seven assists and four digs. Ramapo hit .305 in the match with 37 kills on 95 attempts and just eight errors as a team.
 
For the Beavers, Rachel Ramirez led the team with seven kills while Melanie Torres contributed with five kills of her own. Dzeneta Harambasic posted a team high 16 assists while Nicole Polanco led the team on defense with 12 digs. CCNY recorded 19 kills as a team on 97 attempts and 22 errors.
 
Ramapo wraps up the 2018 season on Saturday, October 27th when they host Alvernia University in a non-conference match at 11am at the Bradley Center.
