Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's volleyball team wrapped up the 2018 season with a 3-0 (25-20, 25-19, 25-16) non-conference victory over Alvernia University. The Roadrunners improve to 11-19 overall while the Wolves stand at 5-17 on the year. The Roadrunners posted their fifth win in the last six matches of the season.
Morgan Ridgway led the Roadrunners as she hit .545 in the match with 14 kills on 22 attempts and just two errors. She also contributed with six digs, one ace, one block and one assist.
Felicia Jimenez posted seven kills while
Aniella Bednarz led the team with three solo blocks and one assisted block. Both
Kate Shirkey and
Sara Correa dished out 13 assists while
Kristina Semple collected a team high 13 digs on defense. The Roadrunners recorded 32 kills is a team.
For the Wolves, Olivia Frutiger posted ten kills while adding 11 digs and two blocks. Taylor Suto posted seven kills while Mikala Persky tallied three kills, two digs and three total blocks. Alexis Schwenk dished out a team high ten assists while Molly Gaffney contributed with seven of her own. On defense Erika McKee led the team with 16 digs. The Wolves posted 25 kills in the match.
