Pomona, NJ: The Stockton University field hockey team posted a 4-0 victory over Ramapo College this afternoon. The Ospreys improve to 11-4 overall and 3-2 in the NJAC while the Roadrunners stand at 4-11 overall and 0-6 in the conference.
All four Stockton goals came in the first half as four different Osprey's each tallied a goal. Victoria Caiazzo recorded her sixth goal of the season off a penalty corner from Issy Gilhooley to put Stockton on the board 1-0 (13:17). The next two Stockton goals from Britney Stein and Kassidy Wentzell were scored unassisted in the 17th and 20th minute of the game. Lauryn Flynn tallied her first goal of the season off a pass from Sarah Fisher in the 27th minute to extend the Osprey lead 4-0.
The Ospreys held an 11-5 advantage in shots in the game while they posted 11 penalty corners to Ramapo's eight. Emily Gilligan recorded two saves in the first half for Stockton while Natalie Ricevuto and Niya Calloway split time in the second half. Ricevuto tallied one save in just over 26 minutes of action.

The Roadrunners return to action on Wednesday, October 24th when they travel to Drew University for a non-conference game at 7pm.
