Pomona, NJ:  In a hard fought battle, the Ospreys of Stockton University came out on top, 2-1 in a double overtime match-up with the Ramapo College men's soccer team today.  With the New Jersey Athletic Conference win, Stockton remains undefeated at 8-0-1 and 2-0 in conference play.  Ramapo falls to 3-5 overall and 1-1 in the NJAC.
 
After a scoreless first half, Stockton got on the scoreboard in the 56th minute as Bobby Riordan chipped the ball over the Ramapo netminder from the right side.  Under five minutes later, Guilherme DeNovaes took a pass from Justin Charkowski and slipped it past Stockton's goaltender to knot the game at 1-1.
 
The game would remain tied at the end of regulation and in double overtime, a free kick from Eucario Solano would hit the back of the net giving the Ospreys the 2-1 conference win.
 
Stockton led in shots for the game, 10-7, regulation ending with the two teams holding six shots each. 
 
Ryan Sprague made three saves in goal for Ramapo and Kellen Groover made two for Stockton.
 
Ramapo returns to action on Monday, September 25th when they travel to Lehman College for a 6pm match-up.
