RAMAPO SPLITS IN SKYLINE CONFERENCE ACTION

Union, NJ:  The Ramapo College men's volleyball team posted a Skyline Conference split today falling first to Kean University, 0-3 (20-25, 22-25, 19-25) before posting a thrilling five-set win 3-2 (25-22, 25-17, 20-25, 16-25, 15-13) over St. Joe's-LI to stand at 15-9 overall and 4-1 in conference action. 
 
In their first match-up against Kean, Justin Feigeles posted a team leading nine kills and Connor Brandow and Paul Close each contributed four kills as the team went 23-68 with 23 errors hitting .000 in the loss.  Garrett Fitzsimmons dished out 19 assists and Feigeles led on defense with seven digs.  Brandow also picked up six digs in the match-up.  Jacob Kauffman led the Cougars with 11 kills and the team hit 34-69 with 13 errors hitting .304.  Kevin Barrow dished out 31 assists and Jared Warner recorded four blocks. 
 
The Roadrunners went to five with St. Joseph's-LI as Feigeles led the team with 23 kills on 48 attempts with 11 errors hitting .250.  Nick Amos and Close put away nine kills each and Jordan Elam and Brandow each recorded eight in the win.  Fitzsimmons dished out 30 assists and Close led the defense with 14 digs.  Terrance Cando picked up ten digs in the win.  Paul Curaro and Will Flohr led St. Joe's with 13 and ten kills respectively as the team went 49-132 with 22 errors hitting .205.  Tyler Jones dished out 41 assists and Matthew Amberge led on defense with 13 digs.  Daniel McNamara collected 11 digs in the loss.
 
Ramapo returns to action on March 28th when they travel to #8 New York University for a 7pm non-conference match-up.
