Brooklyn, NY: The New York University men's volleyball team defeated Ramapo College, 3-0 (25-18, 27-25, 25-20) tonight in a non-conference match. The #7 ranked Violets improve to 13-7 overall while the Roadrunners now stand at 15-10 overall.
Paul Close led the Roadrunners in the match with ten kills on 24 attempts as he hit .333 in the match. He also tallied two digs, two total blocks and one ace.
Justin Feigeles hit .375 in the match with eight kills on 16 attempts while he posted nine digs and 13 assists.
Lucas Inglis led the team with 14 assists while
Connor Brandow led the team with two aces along with seven kills and four digs. The team hit .329 in the match with 35 total kills on 76 attempts and 10 errors.
For the Violets, Alex Li posted a match high 20 kills on 32 attempts and six errors to hit .438. He also contributed with one ace, four digs and one block. Neil Ferraro posted six kills while Derrick Chiu dished out 36 assists. Connor Keowen recorded a team high seven digs and Jaime Rivera posted a team high four aces. The team hit .321 for the match with 41 kills on 81 attempts and 15 errors.
The Roadrunners return to action on Wednesday night when they travel to Yeshiva University for a Skyline conference match at 7pm.
