Mahwah, NJ:  The Ramapo College men's volleyball team held on for a 3-1 non-conference victory over Elmira College, 3-1 (25-23, 25-22, 25-27, 26-24). The Roadrunners improve to 8-7 overall while the Soaring Eagles now stand at 4-14 overall.
 
The Roadrunners won the first two games of the match before Elmira won an exciting game three 27-25. The two teams battled for the lead in game four before Ramapo came out on top 26-24. Justin Feigeles and Nick Amos led the Roadrunners on offense in the match. Feigeles led the team with 15 kills while Amos posted 12. Paul Close collected nine of his own in the match, he also led the team with 14 digs while Terrance Cando and Feigeles posted 12 and 11 digs respectively. Garrett Fitzsimmons dished out a team high 42 assists while Jordan Elam led with five blocks in the match. Ramapo hit .186 in the match with 53 kills on 145 attempts and 26 errors.
 
Matthew Buffum led Elmira with 19 kills while Ryan McDonough posted 12. Matt Straney led the team with seven blocks while Buffum collected five. Jeremy Best dished out a team high 45 assists while three players' posted double-digit digs. McDonough posted 15 digs while Ryan Branigan collected 12 and Mark Kawecki added ten. The team hit .159 in the match with 51 kills on 151 attempts and 27 errors.
 
The Roadrunners return to action on March 2nd when they travel to Mount Saint Vincent for a match at 7pm.
