Poughkeepsie, NY: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team fell to Stevenson University tonight at the Vassar College Invitational. The Mustangs defeated the Roadrunners 3-1 (23-25, 25-19, 25-12, 25-21) and improved to 8-5 overall while the Roadrunners now stand at 7-2 on the season.
Justin Feigeles led the Roadrunners with 16 kills while
Paul Close posted nine kills and
Nick Amos added seven in the match.
Nick Amos led the team with three blocks and
Jordan Elam collected two on the night.
Mikhael Erushalimski led the Roadrunners with 30 assists while
Terrence Cando posted a team high 12 digs on defense. Close added ten digs and Erushalimski collected six digs. Ramapo hit .209 on the night with 43 kills on 110 attempts and 20 errors.
The Mustangs were led by LandonShorts with 18 kills while Jason Gardner added 12 of his own. Kyle Johnson posted a team high 45 assists and Gardner and Derek Tangorra posted eight digs to lead the team. Stevenson hit .386 in the match with 57 kills on 114 attempts with 13 errors.
