Annandale-On-Hudson, NY: The Bard College women's soccer team posted a 2-1 victory over Ramapo College tonight in non-conference action. The Raptors improve to 6-4 overall while the Roadrunners now stand at 3-7 overall.

Bard got on the board with an unassisted goal in the 32nd minute (31:20) of the game when Hayleigh Aulet collected a rebound and put it into the back of the net for her first goal of the year for a 1-0 lead.

The Raptors scored just 27 seconds into the second half to take a 2-0 lead when Caroline Gluck scored her third goal of the year off a pass from Avalon Qian. Ramapo scored late in the game to cut the Raptor lead 2-1 when
Ciara Brophy scored an unassisted goal, her first of the year, in the 77th minute (76:06). The Roadrunners tallied three more shots in the final minutes of the game but could not score to tie the game up as Bard held on for the 2-1 win.

Ramapo held a 19-14 advantage in shots in the game along with a 4-3 edge in corner kicks.
Elizabeth Harvell recorded three saves for the Roadrunners in the net while Tessa Grennhalgh collected seven saves for the Raptors.

The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, October 7th when they travel to #3 The College of New Jersey for a NJAC game at 1pm. The Lions, then ranked #9 in the top 25, defeated the Roadrunners 4-0 during the 2016 season.
