Mahwah, NJ: The Arcadia University men's swim team defeated the Ramapo College Roadrunners 136-126 today at the Adele & Thomas Swimming Pool. The Roadrunners open the season 0-1 overall while the Knights improve to 2-0 overall.
The 200-yard medley relay team won the event when they clocked in at 1:40.31. The team was made up of
Jose Alferez, Samuel Cossaboon,
Julian Giglio,
Andrew Ramos.
Chaz Cella placed second overall in the 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 10:38.96. Aspen Jade Tucker posted a time of 1:53.29 as he paced second in the 200-yard freestyle. Alferez won the 100-yard backstroke (54.90) while Cossaboon won the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:02.05.
Ramapo went 2-3 in the 50-yard free when
Tomer Bachar and
Andrew Ramos clockd in at 22.83 and 22.84 respectively. Tomer (2:01.80) and Alferez (2:02.24) went 1-2 in the 200-yard backstroke while
Tyler Czubachowski finished in third place in 2:10.83.
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, November 4th when they travel to NJAC rival TCNJ for a 1pm meet.
