Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College men's soccer team held the #6 ranked Profs of Rowan University to a double-overtime 0-0 draw to earn a point in the New Jersey Athletic Conference standings. The Roadrunners stand at 8-9-1 overall and 3-4-1 in conference play heading into the final regular season game of the season on Wednesday evening.
The two teams battled it out for 110:00 minutes and with a strong defensive showing from the Roadrunners and 14 game changing saves from
Ryan Sprague, the two teams would finish the conference match-up knotted 0-0 at the final buzzer.
Rowan would control the offensive end out shooting Ramapo 26-5 but Sprague's performance would leave Rowan short. Erik Checkur would make three saves in goal for the Profs.
With the tie the Profs stand at 15-2-1 overall and 7-0-1 in conference play.
The Roadrunners head to Union on Wednesday, October 25th when they face off with the Cougars of Kean University at 7:30pm.
