Union, NJ: The Kean University men's soccer team recorded a 1-0 shutout over Ramapo College tonight in the final NJAC regular season game of the season. The Cougars improve to 10-6-1 overall, 5-4 in the NJAC while the Roadrunners wrap up the season with an 8-10-1 overall record and 3-5-1 in the conference.
Kean got on the board in the 16th minute (15:58) of action with a goal from Vincceroy Nelson, his seventh of the year. The goal was assisted by Ishmael Soria. The Cougars held a 18-17 edge in shots in the game while the Roadrunners posted six shots on goal to Kean's four.

Ryan Sprague collected three saves, Sprague ends his career second on the all-time career saves list at Ramapo with 255. Derek Phells needed to make six stops for the Cougars to earn the shutout. Ramapo also held a 4-3 edge in corner kicks in the game.
Kean earns the #4 seed in the upcoming NJAC Tournament and will host #5 Stockton University on Saturday.
