Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's tennis team posted an 8-1 non-conference win over Lehman College today at the Athletic Center. The Roadrunners improve to 6-1 overall while the Lightning fall to 2-8 on the year.
The Roadrunners won all three doubles matches before moving onto singles action.
Marine Uyttenhove and Sharon Cherasky posted an 8-2 win at first doubles while
Francesca Chicherchia and
Alexa Reeve won 8-1 in second doubles.
Megha Mehta and
Lisa Zazi earned an 8-0 shutout win at third doubles.
Uyttenhove earned a 6-2, 6-3 win at first singles while Chicherchia posted a 6-1, 6-2 win at second singles. Mehta and Reeve posted wins at third (6-2, 6-1) and fourth (6-0, 6-1) singles respectively while Zazi earned another shutout win at sixth singles 6-0, 6-0.
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, October 14th when they host Stockton University in an NJAC conference match at 1pm.
