Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's tennis team earned a 5-4 win over Baruch College today at the Athletic Center. The Roadrunners who win their fourth straight match improve to 7-1 overall while the Bearcats drop to 8-4 overall.
Ramapo won three key doubles matches before moving onto singles play.
Sabrina Koropchak and
Sharon Cherkassky earned an 8-4 win at first doubles while
Marine Uyttenhove and
Francesca Chicherchia held on for a 9-7 win at second doubles.
Megha Mehta and
Alexa Reeves teamed up at third doubles for an 8-2 win.
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday when they host NJAC rival Stockton University at 1pm. The Ospreys defeated Ramapo during the 2016 season 7-2.
