Madison, NJ:  The Ramapo College women's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw in double overtime today against Fairleigh Dickinson University – Florham. The Roadrunners now stand at 0-1-1 overall while the Devils are 1-0-2.
 
FDU-Florham got on the board in the 62nd minute (61:55) when Lindsey Scarmozzino tallied her first goal of the season heading a pass from Kristen Fila into the back of the net for a 1-0 lead.
 
The Roadrunners would put the equalizer on the board in the 88th minute of the game (87:49) when Gabrielle Gentilucci slipped Michaela Knoblock the ball and she found the back of the net to tie the game 1-1.
 
Neither team scored in the two over time periods, with FDU-Forham out shooting Ramapo 5-3 in the OT. For the game, the Roadrunners out shot the Devils 13-12 and 7-5 on goal while FDU-Florham tallied eight corner kicks to Ramapo's one. Ramapo's Elizabeth Harvell recorded four saves in the game while Annie George stopped six shots for the Devils.
 
The Roadrunners return to action on September 7th when they host New Paltz in a non-conference match-up at the Athletic Center grass field at 3pm.
