Mahwah, NJ: The Ramapo College women's tennis team defeated John Jay College 9-0 as the Roadrunners improved to 5-2 overall. The Bloodhounds now stand at 3-2 overall.
Ramapo swept through doubles action highlighted by a shutout win from
Emily Biunno and
Megha Mehta at second doubles with an 8-0 win.
In singles play, Biunno came back to win at first singles 2-6, 6-4, 10-7 while two Roadrunners shutout their opponents.
Christine Bednarz and
Alexa Reeve each posted 6-0, 6-0 wins at fifth and sixth singles.
The Roadrunners return to action on October 4th when they travel to NJAC rival Kean University for a match at 5:30pm.
