Old Westbury, NY: Junior goalkeeper
Ryan Sprague recorded four saves in a 3-0 shutout on the road over Old Westbury. The Roadrunners remain undefeated at 7-0 overall while the Panthers fall to 1-2-4 on the year.
Sophomore
Ryan Campbell continued to lead the team scoring the eventual game-winning goal in the 23rd minute (22.29) for Ramapo. He collected a rebound off his own shot and was able to hit the back of the net with his team leading ninth goal of the season. Ramapo led 1-0 heading into halftime and posted a 9-7 advantage in shots in the first half.
In the second half, sophomore
Trevor Albrecht tallied Ramapo's second goal off a pass from Campbell in the 67th minute (66:05), his first goal of the season. Campbell then assisted on the Roadrunner's third goal of the game as junior
Justin Olaya collected his first goal of the year in the 75th minute of action.
Ramapo led both teams with 21 shots including 11 on goal in the game while the Panthers held a slight 3-2 advantage in corner kicks. Sprague earned his third shutout of the season in the win.
Ramapo returns to action on Saturday when they host NJAC rival Stockton University at the Athletic Center Turf at 1pm.
