Larysa Iwaskiw tallied 25 kills in a 3-0 (25-19, 25-14, 25-13) win leading the Ramapo College women's volleyball team to a NJAC home victory over William Paterson University tonight at the Bradley Center. The Roadrunners extend their win streak to seven straight matches and improve to 11-3 overall, 1-0 in the NJAC while the Pioneers fall to 7-3 overall, 0-2 in the conference.

All three games saw WPU gain an early lead before Ramapo got back on track to defeat the Pioneers. Iwaskiw led both teams with 25 kills, her 13th match this season with double-digit kill totals. She also hit .312 in the match and recorded nine digs and two blocks. Senior
Emily Guzman hit .320 in the match with nine kills while she added one ace, six digs and two blocks. Senior
Rachel Selmore led the team with 22 assists while rookie
Kate Shirkey tallied 21 of her own. Selmore also added one kill, two digs and two blocks while Shirkey posted two aces and seven digs on defense. Sophomore
Kristen Behrens led the both teams on defense with 17 digs while rookie
Karina Almeda collected 12 digs for the Roadrunners. The team hit .318 with 52 kills on 132 attempts.

For WPU, Erin Roach led the team with 15 kills while Alyson Toman collected seven of her own. The team hit .106 in the match with 28 kills on 123 attempts. Kendall Caruso dished out a team high 22 assists and Christine Griffith posted 16 digs on defense for the Pioneers.

The Roadrunners return to action on Thursday, September 22nd when they travel to NJAC rival New Jersey City University for a 7pm match.
