Pomona, NJ: With three goals in under four minutes, all assisted by sophomore
Trevor Albrecht, the Ramapo College men's soccer team posted a 3-0 shut out over Susquehanna University to jump ahead to 3-0 to start the 2016 season. Rookie
Joseph Fala propelled the Roadrunners in the non-conference win with two goals at the Stockton Seashore Classic on the road.
Just over ten minutes into the game, Fala took a pass from Albrecht to tally what turned out to be the game winning goal, giving the Roadrunners a 1-0 lead. The goal was Fala's second of the season. Albrecht came up big just 31 seconds later when he dished a ball to sophomore

Fala would strike again at 14:11, off a third assist from Albrecht to push ahead by three goals, a score that would stand until intermission and until the final buzzer of the game.
The two teams played an even first half with both tallying five shots in the 45 minutes of play, but it was Ramapo who hit three on net and past the Susquehanna goal tender.
Ryan Sprague made two saves in the net for Ramapo. Susquehanna's Chris Dempsey made one save in the first half of play letting up all three goals.
In the final period the two teams played scoreless soccer as Ramapo posted an additional seven shots to Susquehanna's five. Sprague finished the game with an additional one save finishing the game with the shutout and three total saves.
Dempsey made four saves in the second half as the two teams each collected four corners on the day.
