Thousand Oaks, CA: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team closed out their California Spring Trip with a 3-1 (25-19, 25-20, 16-25, 25-22) win over California Lutheran University. With the win the Roadrunners jump ahead to 13-12 overall. California Lutheran falls to 4-19.
The Roadrunners went up two sets to none before dropping the third to CLU. They fought back in the fourth set to take the non-conference match 3-1.
Paul Close led the Roadrunners with 14 kills and
Justin Feigeles added 13 as the team combined for 49 kills on 129 attempts with 26 errors hitting .178 in the win. Rookie setter
Mikhael Erushalimski dished out 39 assists and picked up a team leading 13 digs while
Spencer Shickora also contributed on defense with 13 digs of his own.
Kristian Gallardo led CLU with 17 kills and Junter Horn added 13 as the team combined hitting .264 with 62 kills on 140 attempts with 25 errors. Keaton Arutian led with 26 asissts and Jamal Balkhi led the defense with 12 digs.
The Roadrunners return to action on Sunday, March 20th when they face off with Skyline rival Kean University at 11am and Yeshiva at 1pm on the road.
