MEN'S VOLLEYBALL SPLITS SKYLINE ACTION

Union, NJ:  In a Skyline tri-match-up on the road the Ramapo College men's volleyball team first fell to Kean University, 0-3 (12-25, 15-25, 13-25) before earning a 3-0 (25-7, 25-15, 25-17) sweep over Yeshiva.  Going one and one on the day the Roadrunners now stand at 14-13 overall and 10-2 in the conference.  Kean jumps ahead to 22-6 and remains undefeated in the conference at 10-0 while Yeshiva falls to 4-15 overall and 3-9 in the Skyline.
 
Against Kean, sophomore Justin Feigeles led the way with 14 kills and Connor Brandow added six as the team went 26-71 with 27 errors hitting -.014.  Mikhael Erushalimski dished out 24 assists and Feigeles led the defense with six digs.  The Cougars hit .471 as a team with 32 kills on 51 attempts and just eight errors behind a team leading performance from Tommy Rosario with seven kills.  Steve Schrank dished out 26 assists and Nick McIntyre led the defense with four digs.
 
In their sweep over Yeshiva, Brandow and Patrick Wixted each recorded a team leading seven kills as the team hit a combined .474 with 35 kills on 57 attempts and just eight errors.  Erushalimski collected 28 assists and Paul Close led on defense with eight digs.  Yeshiva scored just seven points on kills with Matthew Rosenberg collecting a team leading three.  Yeshiva hit 7-41 with 13 errors hitting a combined -.146. Michael Klein led the defense with five digs.
 
Ramapo returns to action on Tuesday evening when they host Mt. St. Vincent at 7pm at the Bradley Center.
