New York, NY: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team fell short to the Hawks of Hunter College, 1-3 (22-25, 23-25, 25-21, 19-25) tonight on the road in a non-conference match-up. With the loss the Roadrunners fall to .500 at 9-9 overall. Hunter improves to 13-6 on the year.
Sophomore
Justin Feigeles led the team today with 18 kills on 39 attempts and eight errors hitting .256 while
Paul Close collected 15 kills and
Connor Brandow 11 in the loss. The team combined for 57 kills hitting .282 with 22 errors on 124 attempts. Rookie setter
Mikhael Erushalimski dished out 52 assists and picked up ten digs.
Spencer Shickora also grabbed ten digs on the night.
For the Hawks, Benjamin Crusinberry led with 16 kills and Steven Tarquino added 12 as the team went 48-113 with 19 errors hitting .257. Nicolas Sanchez collected 37 assists and Joseph Muir led the team's defense with 14 digs.
The Roadrunners return to action on Sunday, March 6th when they host Dominican (IL) at noon, Sage at 2pm and Yeshiva at 6pm.
