MEN'S VOLLEYBALL EARNS TWO SKYLINE WINS

Jersey City, NJ:  The Ramapo College men's volleyball team defeated the College of Mount Saint Vincent 3-0 (25-8, 25-20, 25-17) and host New Jersey City University 3-0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-16) today in two Skyline Conference match-ups on the road.  With the two wins the Roadrunners improve to 6-7 overall and remain undefeated in conference play at 5-0, with their biggest conference rival match coming up this Wednesday. 

In the first match of the day against CMSV, Connor Brandow led the team with nine kills while Jordan Elam added eight kills of his own. Brandow also tallied three aces while Patrick Wixted tallied two aces in the match. Mikhael Erushalimski dished out a team high 28 assists while Spencer Shickora led the team on defense with nine digs. Ramapo hit .369 in the match with 33 kills on 65 attempts and only nine errors.  For CMSV, Tyler Cucullu collected a team leading seven kills and Logan Dickover assisted on 18 points while Cucullu led the defense with six digs.

In the day's second sweep, sophomore Justin Feigeles led the team with 13 kills hitting .409 with 22 attempts and just foru errors.  Wixted and Paul Close each collected seven kills as the team combined for 38 kills on 70 attempts with just 11 errors hitting .386.  Erumshalimski assisted on 28 points and also picked up a team leading eight digs.  For NJCU, Daque Wilcox led the team with eight kills as the Gothic Knights combined for 27 kills hitting .194.  Erick Nascimento collected 15 assists and Sheldon Coure led the defense with five digs. 

The Roadrunners will take on Kean University on Wednesday, February 24th at home at 7pm in a Skyline Conference match-up at the Bradley Center.
