Mahwah, NJ: The College of New Jersey men's swim team defeated Ramapo College today 159-98 in NJAC action. The Lions improve to 3-0 overall and 2-0 in the NJAC while the Roadrunners now stand at 1-1 overall and 0-1 in the conference.
The Roadrunners placed second overall in the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:38.66.

RJ Carillo,
Evan Graziano and
Tomer Bachar teamed up for Ramapo. Alferez places second in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 54.82 while Carillo placed second in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:02.59. Alferez and Nick Markwell went 2-3 in the 200-yard backstroke with times of 1:59.65 and 2:11.76 respectively. Carillo captured a first place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke when he clocked in at 2:16.59 while
Chaz Cella placed second in the 500-yard freestyle event with a time of 5:18.34.
Evan Graziano placed first overall in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 53.68. The 400-yard freestyle relay team made up of Alferez,
Aspen-Jade Tucker, Graziano and
Julian Giglio placed second overall with a time of 3:17.36.
The Roadrunners return to action when they host NJAC rival Rowan University on November 12th at 2pm.
