Christopher Moseley poured in 22 points to lead the Ramapo College men's basketball team to a 86-58 NJAC road win over Montclair State University. The Roadrunners extend their win streak and now stand at 5-0 overall, 2-0 in the NJAC while the Red Hawks fall to 2-3 overall and 1-1 in the conference.
The Roadrunners dominated the game and led by as many as 28 points en route to their fifth straight win. The team shot 61% (34-55) from the field in the game as Moseley led the team with a season high 22 points. Junior
Thomas Bonacum posted 16 points while senior
Sultan Aminu collected 12 points and a team high seven rebounds. Senior
Jermaine Peart posted ten points while
Josh Ford collected nine points of his own. Ramapo shot 57% (4-7) from the three-point line and 70% (14-20) from the free throw line in the game. The Roadrunners collected 32 points off MSU turnovers as the Ramapo defense forced 23 turnovers.
The Red Hawks were led by Brandon Channer who posted a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds while he collected six steals. Jovanni Chatham posted ten points and three assists while Daniel Ramis posted ten points of his own, including three three-pointers. The team shot 34% (21-61) from the field, 13% (3-23) from beyond the three-point line and 76% (13-17) from the free throw line.
The Roadrunners return to action on Saturday, December 3rd at the Bradley Center when they host NJAC rival Stockton University at 3pm.
