Union, NJ: The Ramapo College women's tennis team fell in a tough NJAC match-up today at Kean University, 5-4. The Cougars improve to 6-4 overall, 3-2 in the NJAC while the Roadrunners now stand at 5-3 overall and 3-2 in the conference.
Sharon Cherrassky and
Emily Biunno posted a 8-2 win at first doubles while Kean took the other two doubles match-ups leading into singles play.
Biunno also posted a 6-0, 6-1 win at second singles while
Alexa Reeve came back in a 3-6, 6-2, 6-4 win at fifth singles.
Abbey Tremonte won at sixth singles 6-4, 6-0 to wrap up the Roadrunners' team points. Kean took first, third and fourth singles.
The Roadrunners return to action when they travel to Stockton University for the final NJAC match-up of the season on Saturday, October 15th. The match begins at 12pm.
