Keuka Park, NY: The Ramapo College field hockey team opened up the 2015 season today on the road at Keuka College at Jephson Athletic Center. The Roadrunners walked away with a 4-0 shutout victory to start the season at 1-0 overall while Keuka now stands at 0-2 overall.

Gianna Mouskourie scored off an assist from junior captain
Lauren Grosso to put the Roadrunners on the board 1-0 in the 10th minute (9:16) of the game. Junior
Nicole Healy scored her first goal of the season when she connected with
Christina Bacino for the second goal of the first half in the 18th minute (17:51) before Bacino hit the back of the net in the 20th minute (19:46) assisted by Grosso. Ramapo extended their lead to 4-0, as rookie
Stephanie Gallo collected her first collegiate goal of her career in the 31st minute (30:11).
The Roadrunners held a 31-2 advantage in shots in the game along with a 16-1 margin in penalty corners.
Emily Wisneski played the entire first half in goal without having to save an opponents shot to earn the win.
Cassidy Schuster (9:33) and
Emily Kramer (25:27) split time in goal in the second half to help earn the combined shutout.
The Roadrunners return to action when they host Western Connecticut State University on September 8th at 4pm.
