Mahwah, NJ:  The Ramapo College men's volleyball team fell to #9 New York University tonight at the Bradley Center. The Violets came back down two sets to take the game 3-2 (22-25, 19-25, 25-16, 25-23, 15-9). The Roadrunners now stand at 18-16 overall while the Violets improve to 16-9 on the year.
 
Justin Feigeles led the Roadrunners with 18 kills on 47 attempts while he collected 13 digs and one ace. Ryan Casci added 17 kills, two aces and six digs while Peter Desvousges added five kills and five digs. Alec Weissman dished out a team high 41 assists in the match while he added one kill and three digs. Kurt MacDonald collected a team high 21 digs while he added four assists and one kill. The team hit .122 in the match with 50 kills on 147 attempts and 32 errors.
 
For NYU, Colin LaPorte hit .333 in the match with team leading 16 kills on 33 attempts with only five errors. He also collected four total blocks and six digs. Andrew Zhu hit .353 in the match with ten kills on 17 attempts and four errors. He added three blocks and seven digs. Derrick Chiu dished out 20 assists while Patrick Merrick added 15 of his own. Andrew Quirk posted 13 digs to lead the team while Phil Bueno led the team with seven total blocks, three aces and seven kills. The team hit .224 in the match with 45 total kills on 125 attempts and 17 errors.
 
The Roadrunners return to action on Thursday, April 9th when they host #3 New Jersey City University in a Skyline Conference Tournament semifinal match at the Bradley Center at 7pm.
