In the bottom half of the third, WPU took a 3-2 lead with a two-run home run by Rachel Wasilak. Neither team would score until the top of the seventh when Melissa Moreno propelled the Roadrunners to a 4-3 victory with a two-out two-run home. The home run, Moreno's first of her career, drove home Jaclyn Lima to take the lead. Lima led off the inning with a single.
