New Paltz, NY: The Ramapo College men's volleyball team dropped a tough 0-3 (13-25, 23-25, 18-25) decision tonight to the #3 ranked Hawks of New Paltz. With the loss the Roadrunners fall to 3-6 overall while New Paltz improves to 4-1.
Ramapo combined efforts to hit .032 on offense with 21 kills on 62 attempts and 19 errors, as
Connor Brandow led the way with six kills.
Spencer Shickora and
Garrett Fitzsimmons each added five kills and
Justin Feigeles dished out a team high 20 assists.
Peter Desvousges led the team's defense picking up six digs in the loss.
New Paltz went 33-70 with 12 errors hitting .300 in the win. Christian Smith led the team with seven kills and Anthony Bonilla added six. John Lutjen assisted on 14 plays and Steve Gassert and Kevin Nardone each collected four digs.
Ramapo takes on Skyline rivals, #6 Kean University and Yeshiva, when they return to action on Sunday, February 15th at 11am and 1pm respectively.
